Guide Manager and Guide Course Coordinator

After studying Tourism Management, I spent nine years travelling the world on an “extended gap year” which turned into an unprecedented career path, as a Resort & Country Manager for Hotelplan and Kuoni. After working as both a dive guide and ski guide, and teaching English in Bergen, I returned home to beautiful Devon to continue working in the world of EFL, teaching, training and marketing to overseas students, teachers and business clients. My work involved extensive travel with worldwide marketing trips including the Far East and Latin America, and after a hectic 2 years based in Central London, my husband  (Norwegian of course!) persuaded me to return to The Rainy City (Bergen). I've now been working in the NGS office since 2007 and have just come back to work after 2 year's maternity leave with our little daughter.
